Grown your own veggies

May 17th, 2016

Now that the temperature is beginning to rise and that the forecast is for a spell of rain ,these make ideal growing conditions for the veg garden Plants such as leeks, Sweet corn and all manor of salad stuff will grow  away very quickly if planted out as young plants or will germinate well if sow as seed.

This is now the best time to plant and sow to ensure a summer of fresh salad leaves  or a winter supply of greens, leeks or even parsnips for the Christmas dinner . Sorry did I mention Christmas in May !!! I`ll wash my mouth out
