Peach flowers enjoying a warm wall

Peach flowers enjoying a warm wall

Growing against a south facing wall, and  making good use of the heat stored in the wall from the sunshine,is this fan trained peach, var Peregrine.

Peregrine is self fertile, has firm juicy fruit and as can be seen the branches are already festooned in pink flowers. This tree was originally grown as a standard (normal tree shape) but was then prune and coxed into growing as a fan shaped tree against this wall.
