Cornus kousa

Growing at Averys Garden Centre is this young specimen of Cornus kousa showing of it`s white very showy bracts, which are followed by strawberry like fruits in the autumn and leaves which turn bronze and crimson.

Not recommended for chalk soils. Introduced from Japan and Korea in 1875.
