Abutilon megapotamicum

October 5th, 2014

An unusual, but easy climbing shrub to grow is ,Abutilon megapotamicum, with its  conspicuous pendulous flowers,  coloured red and yellow  from which hang purple stamens. It does very well against a warm wall but in the last few years ours  have been growing over trellis arches where it makes a striking feature.
